The New Canaan Library celebrates the setting as well as the story with its Summer Read 2012 theme, Novel Destinations.

Patrons can participate by showing the many places their library card can go -- paddling down the Amazon or in the town pool, in exotic places or close to home. They are encouraged to snap a photo of their card right there in the vacation setting, then email it to cardtrotting@gmail.com. New photos are posted daily.
