Wayne Nasution, 50, of Norwalk was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 27, on charges of fifth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trover.

He turned himself in to New Canaan police after learning a warrant had been issued for his arrest.

Police said an employee of Radio Shack on Park Street on Dec. 28 recalled receiving a phone call in which a person asked if the store sold laptops. About 15 to 20 minutes later, the employee said a man entered the store and identified himself as the one who called, said police. The employee, busy with another customer, noticed him leave after about five minutes and then discovered one of four laptops on display was missing, according to the report.

He posted $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, March 13.
