Cornelia Deney, 50, of Fable Farm Road in New Canaan was arrested on Friday, Dec. 14, on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs and two counts of risk of injury to a minor at around 6 p.m.
Officers got a call from a driver in the area of the Food Emporium on Elm Street that a vehicle was driving erratically, according to police. The police went to the area but could not locate the vehicle.
Police then received a call from another driver behind the same erratic car. This time, the caller stayed on the phone with police until they arrived, police said.
