New Canaan woman allegedly violated protective order

NEW CANAAN — Police arrested a New Canaan woman after she allegedly violated a protective order.
On Oct. 1 around 2:11 p.m., police received a report of a violation of a protective order. After an investigation, police issued an arrest warrant for Cheryl Jenkins of Raymond Street.
On Oct. 17 around 2:25 p.m., police took Jenkins, 55, into custody at Stamford Court. She was held on a $15,000 bond.
Since this is a family dispute, police said they will not release any further information regarding the nature of the violation.
