A woman accused of posting inappropriate Facebook material about a 17-year-old New Canaan High School girl turned herself in to police last week on a variety of charges.

Teri A. Buhl, 38, of Locust Avenue surrendered Oct. 27 at 2:15 p.m. and was charged with second-degree harassment, second-degree breach of peace and interference with a police officer.

Buhl on June 24 posted information on the Internet site about the teen that were personal in nature and almost "journal-like," with content involving parties, alcohol and sexual comment, police said.

In addition, Buhl posted inappropriate sexual comments, according to police.

Buhl posted a $5,000 bond and is set for a Nov. 9 court date.
