Wednesday's blustery weather has swept out of town, but there's a chance of showers across southwestern Connecticut this afternoon and evening.

Clouds move into the region by afternoon, according to the National Weather Service, with a daytime high temperature in the mid-50s. There will be a west wind between 10 and 14 mph.

Tonight will gradually clear, with a low of about 40 degrees, the NWS says.

Friday should be sunny and cooler, with a high near 47 degrees. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low around 40.

A mostly sunny day is expected Saturday, with a high of about 53 degrees and breezy conditions.

More sun is expected Sunday, but it is likely to be cooler with a daytime high of about 45.
