Police officers busted a party of teens drinking beer at about 9:26 p.m. on Friday, March 1, on Harrison Avenue, New Canaan.
A 17-year-old male, whose lived at the house, received infractions for possession of alcohol by a minor and for failure to halt possession of alcohol by a minor.
According to police, the officers, responding to a noise complaint from loud music, found four 17-year-old males, two 17-year-old females, two 16-year-old females and one 15-year-old male in the loft room above the garage. In the loft, the police found beer and beer-drinking games set up, according to the report.
The parents of the resident 17-year-old boy were in the house and said they were unaware of the activity, though they had heard some music, according to police.
None of the other teens were given infractions. The parents of each teen were alerted and care was taken to ensure each got home safely, according to police.
