NEW CANAAN — A New Canaan teenager was taken into custody on a $10,000 bond after allegedly violating a standing protective order.
On April 21 around 1:35 p.m., police took a complaint from a victim, claiming that James Patrick Fahey, 19, had violated a standing protective order by contacting the victim several times, as well as approaching the victim in person. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Fahey and went to his Hillcrest Road home to take him into custody.
Fahey was charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree harassment, third-degree assault and second-degree unlawful restraint. He was held in lieu of the $10,000 bond ahead of an April 24 court date.
Police said they would not release any further information on this incident as it is domestic in nature.
