Megan Doyle, Andrew Owens and New Canaanite Sam Stryker have been chosen to help oversee Notre Dame's newspaper, The Observer's, operations in 2012-13, incoming editor-in-chief Allan Joseph announced Sunday.

Doyle will serve as managing editor, the No. 2 position at the paper, and Owens and Stryker will each assume the position of assistant managing editor.

Stryker, a junior, is majoring in film, television and theatre and minoring in medieval studies and anthropology. The native of New Canaan, and Knott Hall resident currently serves as news editor, where he helped co-found "ND Minute" and covered the cancellation of the Japanese study-abroad programs last year.

Joseph will take over as editor-in-chief on March 5, and the rest of the editorial board will assume their positions March 19.
