Potter registered an outstanding performance at the Gettysburg Invitational Nov. 22-23.
Competing against three teams, including fourth-ranked Johns Hopkins University, he won three individual events (50-freestyle, 20.74; 100-freestyle, 44.83, and 200-freestyle, 1:40.85) while swimming times in the 100- and 200-free that are currently the fastest in Division-III this season.
He also ranks second nationally in the 50-free, and all three of his times are NCAA Division-III Championship-qualifying "B" cuts.
In addition, Potter swam on all three winning freestyle relays (200-FR, 1:23.00; 400-FR, 3:01.89; 800-FR, 6:50.40), and all three currently hold the top times in Division-III with B-cuts.
Potter helped the Bullets finish second at the meet, finishing behind only Hopkins.
Gettysburg (5-0, 3-0 Centennial Conference) takes a lengthy break from competition before returning to the pool on Jan. 25 with a dual meet against Mary Washington.
