New Canaan 14-year-old Lexi Milunovich won the USTA New England Junior Hardcourts Girls 16 singles held at Hall High School in West Hartford Aug. 11-14.

Milunovich defeated Darien's Kateri Martin 6-1, 6-1 in the semifinals and picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Weymouth, MA's Sasa Jovanovic in the finals.

Milunovich and her partner, 15-year-old Mercedes Hammond of Maine, won the New England Hardcourts Girls 18 doubles.
