New Canaan's Memorial Day Parade Monday morning

New Canaan's annual Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 28, at 9:30 a.m.

The parade will kick off at St. Mark's Church, and conclude with the ceremony at Lakeview Cemetery.

This year's theme is "To remember with gratitude and honor the proud men and women who gave their lives while serving in the US Armed Forces to protect and preserve a life of freedom for all Americans."

In the event of heavy rain, a cancellation notice will be posted at www.newcanaan.info. If the parade is canceled, a memorial ceremony will take place at Town Hall with limited seating.
