Lapham Center is participating with the New Canaan Library in its World War II themed summer reading project. On Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Cynde Lahey, assistant library director, and students from the high school will meet at Lapham for a discussion about World War II. The students are interested in hearing the memories of both soldiers and civilians and will tape those willing to participate in an oral history project.

Anyone who would like to share memories or artifacts or simply listen to the conversation is welcome to attend. A second session will be held Thursday, July 29, at the same time and place.
