The New Canaan girls tennis team scored a 7-0 victory at home against Ridgefield on Monday, as only one match required a third set.

At top singles, New Canaan's Jensen Lee rallied to a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Kelly Janasck. The Rams scored a trio of straight set victories at No. 2-4 singles (Kate Howard defeated Olivia Beatty 7-5, 6-4, Emily Brand toppled Maxine Gorelick 6-2, 61 and Caroline Gordon scored a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Jamie Coconis.

New Canaan's top doubles tandem of Sara Greene and Kristin Laub picked up a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Gemma Bronson-Howard and Gretchen Ball. At second doubles, New Canaan's Amanda Merjian and Sarah Lovejoy came away with a 6-2, 6-1 win against Natasha Armbrust and Rebecca Vanvervoorn. At third doubles, New Canaan's Guiliana Savini and Emma Gruber defeated Caroline Nethercott and Katelynn Hill 6-1, 6-3.

The win boosted New Canaan's record to 2-1.
