The New Canaan Rams (9-0) picked up a 7-0 road victory over the Trumbull Eagles (2-8) last Friday. On Monday, the Rams scored another 7-0 victory at home against Danbury (3-7) to remain unbeaten.

In singles action against Trumbull, top New Canaan player Kate Mannelly defeated Trumbull's Jill Epstein 6-2, 6-0. At second singles, Courtney Gallagher defeated Snecha Alapaithi 6-0, 6-2. At third singles, Caitlin Gallagher topped Lily Etemad 6-0, 6-0. At fourth singles, Kate Howard defeated Fran Michel 6-4, 6-3 in the most competitive match of the day.

New Canaan's top doubles team of Kimmy Glerum and Sara Greene defeated Trumbull's Krista Veikos and Haley Bean 6-1, 6-0. At second doubles, the tandem of Amanda Merjian and Kristin Laub topped Corrie MacLean and Hannah Lillicraf 6-1, 6-0. At third doubles, Emily Greene and Emily Brand defeated Lauren Cherry and Maddy Kenler 6-2, 6-0.

Against Danbury, Mannelly got a tough challenge from Lindsey Post but ultimately prevailed 7-5, 6-2. Courtney Gallagher defeated Gina Atanasoff 6-1, 6-0, Caitlin Gallagher defeated Siri Chillara 6-0, 6-0 and Jensen Lee defeated Katie Peachman 8-0.

In doubles action, Glerum and Greene topped Melissa Hawley and Megan Jakobson 6-0, 6-0, Merjian and Laub defeated Christiane Nguyen and Carol Ann Pacete 6-1, 6-1 and the team of Phoebe Wilks and Kate Howard defeated Lissi Evert and Lindsay Glaser 6-0, 6-0.
