A sunny and warm weekend begins today in southwestern Connecticut, the National Weather Service says,

Under clear skies, the daytime high temperature will rise to about 70 degrees, with a north wind 5 to 10 mph, later becoming east.

Conditions will remain clear tonight, with a low temperature of about 50 degrees. There will be a southeast wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northeast.

Tomorrow will also be sunny but promises to be warmer, with the daytime high registering in the upper-70s. Nighttime will be clear with a low temperature in the low-50s, the NWS says.

Sunday continues the pleasant streak with mostly sunny skies and a high temperature in the mid-70s. There is a slight chance of rain overnight, however, as clouds begin moving in and the temperature dips to a low in the mid-50s.

The outlook for Monday, the weather service predicts, is for a chance of rain under cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-60s.
