Cloud cover across southwestern Connecticut will increase throughout the day, with the prospects for a wintry mix overnight.
The National Weather Service says the daytime high temperature will rise to the low-40s, with a north wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east in the afternoon.
Overnight, there is a chance of snow and rain as the temperature falls to the low-30s. There will be a northeast wind 9 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is about 30 percent, the NWS says.
Tomorrow, there is a chance of snow before 9 a.m., then changing to rain later. The daytime high temperature is expected to be in low-40s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
There is a chance of drizzle before midnight Saturday night. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a low around temperature in the low-40s.
On Sunday, isolated showers could take place after noon. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-50s. Nighttime may also see scattered showers under mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-40s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
Monday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-50s. Skies will be partly cloudy Monday night, with a low temperature in the low-40s.
Tuesday also should be sunny, with a high temperature again in the upper-50s. However, scattered showers are possible Tuesday night, with a low in the low-40s. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures rising to about 50 degrees.
