New Canaan forecast: Sunny, with slowly warming trend

Sunny skies, but slightly cooler temperatures, will prevail today across southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature will reach about 50 degrees, with a west wind 7 to 14 mph, the NWS says.
Tonight, however, clouds move in as the temperature dips to the mid-30s, with a south wind around 6 mph.
Tomorrow should be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 60 degrees. There is a 20 percent chance of showers tomorrow night as temperature drops to the low-40s.
Monday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-60s. There is a 40 percent chance of showers overnight, the NWS predicts, as the temperature falls to the low-40s.
On Tuesday, there remains a chance of showers as the temperatures warm to a high in the upper-60s. Showers are also possible Tuesday night, with a temperature tipping to a low in the upper-40s.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures in the 60s.
