The Thanksgiving holiday weekend continues today on a nice weather note, with sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures in southwestern Connecticut.

The National Weather Service says that, for a second consecutive day, high temperatures will rise to the mid-60s. A west wind will be between 5 and 7 mph.

Tonight will be party cloudy with a low about 44 degrees.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with a high near 59 degrees, the NWS says. Tomorrow night should be partly cloudy, with the low temperature overnight changing only moderately to about 50 degrees.

The work week Monday may start on a wet note, with a slight chance of showers. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a daytime high near 59 degrees. There remains a chance of showers Monday night and into early Tuesday. The overnight low temperature will be about 48 degrees.

The odds of rain Tuesday are even more likely, according to the weather service. Skies will be cloudy and the temperature will crest in the mid-50s.
