Southwestern Connecticut will continue to bask in warm, sunny weather today -- and right on through the weekend.

The National Weather Service even predicts the balmy stretch should continue until the middle of next week.

Today's daytime high temperature will be about 83 degrees, with a north wind 6 to 10 mph becoming southwest, the NWS says.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 65 degree and a west wind at 7 mph becoming south.

Sunny skies will also prevail tomorrow, with the temperature reaching a high in the low-80s. The low temperature tomorrow night should be about 67 degrees.

Sunday should also be sunny and a little warmer, with the high temperature in the mid-80s. There will be a west wind between 8 and 11 mph. Overnight, the low temperature will dip to only around 70.

Monday will simply bring more of the sunny, warm conditions, the weather service predicts.
