The first week of fall 2013 promises to be a sunny one, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies will be sunny today in southwestern Connecticut as the temperature rises to a daytime high in the upper-60s. There will be a northwest wind 7 to 14 mph.
Tonight will be clear and the low temperature will be about 40 degrees, with a northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Tomorrow also will be sunny with a high temperature about 70 degrees. Nighttime will be clear with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
On Wednesday, more sun is in store and the daytime high temperature will be in the low-70s. Night skies will be clear with a low temperature in the low-50s.
Thursday continues the pleasant trend with sunny skies and high temperatures in the low-70s. Night skies will be clear with a temperature dipping to a low in the low-50s.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 70s.
