New Canaan forecast: Summer stages a late comeback

Summer, which according to the calendar has about one month left in its 2013 run, is not taking its leave without a fight.
Hot, humid and very summer-like weather is in store of southwestern Connecticut for at least the next two days.
Skies today will be sunny as the daytime temperature rises to the upper-80s, with a light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-60s and a southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.
Tomorrow, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 9 a.m. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-80s. There is a lesser, 20 percent chance of precipitation tomorrow night as the temperature dips to a low in the mid-60s.
On Friday, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-80s Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature around 60 degrees.
Saturday should be sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-70s. Night skies will be clear with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
The outlook for Sunday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures about 80 degrees.
