Showers are likely later today as clouds move across southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature will be about 70 degrees, with a southwest wind 10 to 13 mph. The odds of precipitation are about 80 percent after 3 p.m., the NWS says.
Tonight, rain is expected to continue through early-morning tomorrow. The low temperature will be in the upper-40s with a west wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
Tomorrow, skies are expected to clear and the temperature will rise to the low-60s under sunny skies. Nighttime will be mostly clear as, with a low temperature about 45 degrees.
Wednesday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 65 degrees. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
Thursday also should be sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-60s. There is a chance of showers Thursday night with a low temperature in the low-50s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is mostly cloudy and temperatures in the upper-60s.
