The frantic start of the holiday shopping season today is blessed with sunny skies and warming temperatures across southwestern Connecticut.

The daytime high temperature will be about 58 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, and there will be a west wind between 5 and 9 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low temperature around 42.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high temperature expected to reach in the low 60s. Tomorrow night will be partly cloudy with a low around 45 degrees.

Sunday should be partly sunny, the NWS says, with a high again in the low-60s. There is a possibility of showers overnight as the temperature falls to around 50.

Monday showers are likely under cloudy skies, the weather service predicts. The temperature is expected to rise to a high in the mid-50s.
