The weekend's fine fall weather is expected to continue right on through the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies across southwestern Connecticut today should be mostly sunny, with the daytime temperatures rising to a high of about 70 degrees and a south wind 5 to 7 mph.
Tonight should be mostly clear -- although there could be patchy fog is some areas -- with a low temperature in the upper-40s and a south wind around 5 mph.
Tomorrow, fog should clear from the region before 8 a.m., with sunny skies prevailing for the rest of the day as the temperature rises to the upper-70s. Night skies will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
On Wednesday, more sun is in the forecast and the temperature may rise to a high of about 80 degrees. Nighttime will be clear with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
Thursday also will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-70s. Clouds are expected to move in overnight, as the temperature dips to the mid-50s.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 70s.
