It will be a pleasant day in southwestern Connecticut, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service.

The rest of the week, however, may not be as nice, with the NWS predicting there is at least a chance of precipitation every day through Saturday.

Tonight, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy and temperatures will dip to the low-60s.

Tomorrow, there is a chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Otherwise, skies should be partly sunny and temperatures are expected to be in the upper-80s. There remains a chance of showers and thunderstorms tomorrow night, and the low temperature will be in the low-70s.

On Friday, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before noon, under mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid-80s. By nighttime, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms while the low temperature will be about 70 degrees.

The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny, temperatures in the low-80s and, again, a chance of precipitation.
