Spring is "officially" two weeks away, but it won't feel like winter in southwestern Connecticut as temperatures rise to the 50s -- and above -- over the next several days.
The National Weather Service says that, under sunny skies today, the daytime high temperature will rise to the mid-50s. There will be a southwest wind between 8 and 14 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a temperature registering a low in the mid-40s and a southwest wind around 11 mph.
Tomorrow will be even warmer as the NWS predicts the high temperature will be in the low-60s. Besides the sunny conditions, it will also be breezy, with a southwest wind between 13 and 21 mph. Scattered showers are possible tomorrow night, and a low temperature in the mid-40s.
Friday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-50s. It will be breezy again, with a northwest wind 9 to 12 mph, increasing to between 17 and 20 mph. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low around temperature around 30 degrees.
The temperature will fall back by the weekend, the weather service predicts, with sunny skies and a high temperature in the mid-40s on Saturday.
