Nicer weather makes a comeback today after a day a clouds and scattered showers that ended southwestern Connecticut's weekend on a down note.
The National Weather Service says that skies today will be partly cloudy, although no precipitation is on tap, with a daytime high temperature rising to a high of about 80 degrees. There will be a west wind 5 to 9 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature about 60 degrees and a west wind 3 to 6 mph.
Tomorrow will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-80s. Nighttime will be clear with a low temperature in the mid-60s.
Wednesday should be sunny, again with temperatures in the mid-80s. Night skies will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-60s.
More sunny skies are expected Thursday, and the high temperature will rise to the mid-80s. There is a 30 percent chance of precipitation Thursday night as temperatures dips to a low in the low-60s.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 80s.
