New Canaan forecast: Cool & breezy

Change is in the air today. Quite literally.
Much cooler air is moving into southwestern Connecticut this morning, along with gusting northeast winds, and that means the high temperature today will scarcely rise above the low-70s under mostly cloudy skies, according to the National Weather Service. The changing weather pattern also brings a 40 percent chance of daytime precipitation.
There remains a 30 percent chance of scattered showers overnight, as the temperature dips to a low of about 60 degrees.
Tomorrow is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 80 degrees. Nighttime skies will be cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-60s.
On Saturday, skies should be partly sunny, with a high temperature again rising to near 80 degrees. There is 20 percent chance of daytime precipitation, the NWS says. Under cloudy night skies, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low temperature in the upper-60s.
Sunday is expected to mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 80 degrees. Chance of daytime precipitation is 40 percent. There remains a 40 percent chance of precipitation Sunday night as the temperature registers a low in the mid-60s.
