Early-morning clouds today are expected to give way to partly sunny skies across southwestern Connecticut, as daytime temperatures rise to a high in the mid-40s.

But the National Weather Service predicts that clouds will return tonight as the temperature drops to a low in the upper-20s.

Tomorrow, there is a chance of light rain after 3 p.m. Otherwise, the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the low-40s. Rain is likely tomorrow night, mostly after 9 p.m., and the low temperature is in the upper-30s.

More rain is in the forecast for Friday, mostly before noon, the NWS says. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 50 degrees. Nighttime skies will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature around 33 degrees.

Saturday will be partly sunny, the weather service predicts, with a high temperature in the mid-40s.
