Skies across southwestern Connecticut, so brilliantly sunny over the weekend, have clouded over this morning, with a chance of showers later today.
The National Weather Service says there is a 60 percent likelihood of precipitation after 1 p.m. as the daytime high temperature rises to the upper-60s. There will be an east wind between 10 and 13 mph.
Tonight showers are likely, along with clouds and fog. The temperature will dip to a low in the upper-50s with an east wind between 6 and 8 mph.
Tomorrow, there remains a chance of showers as skies remain cloudy, and the temperature will rise to the low-70s. Showers are also possible tomorrow night with a low temperature around 60 degrees, the NWS says.
On Wednesday, there is a slight chance of showers between noon and 3 p.m. with thunderstorms possible after 3 p.m. The high temperature will be in the upper-70s. There is a slight chance of showers before midnight, with a low overnight around 60 degrees.
The outlook for Thursday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny and temperatures rising to the low-70s.
