April showers are expected to fall again later today in southwestern Connecticut, as skies remain mostly cloudy and breezy throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.

The daytime high temperature is expected to rise to about 60 degrees, while chances of precipitation increase after 4 p.m. A brisk wind will blow from the southwest between 13 and 21 mph.

Overnight, there remains a chance of isolated showers as the temperature drops to a low of about 40 degrees. There will be a west wind between 9 and 13 mph.

Tomorrow, the NWS predicts there may be isolated showers after 9 a.m. The day will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the upper-50s. Tomorrow night will remain cloudy, with a low temperature around 40 degrees.

On Thursday, there is a chance of showers, mainly after 10 a.m. while the temperature rises to about 60 degrees. Showers are still possible Thursday night and the temperature will register a low in the mid-40s.

The outlook for Friday, the weather service says, is for sunny skies, with a high temperature in the upper-50s.
