A clear and cool weather pattern continues to prevail in southwestern Connecticut today and is expected to hold well into next week.
The National Weather service says that, under sunny skies, today's daytime high temperature will rise to the low-70s, with a north wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.
Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 50 degrees and a west wind 3 to 5 mph.
Tomorrow also will be sunny with a high temperature in the mid-70s. There is a slight, 20 percent chance of overnight precipitation tomorrow as the temperature dips to the upper-50s.
On Sunday, there remains a 20 percent chance of precipitation before noon. Otherwise, skies are expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-70s. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
Monday will be sunny with a high temperature in the upper-70s. Skies on Monday night are expected to be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
The outlook for Tuesday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 70s.
