Skies this morning are partly sunny and breezy, but there could be showers by day's end, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut is expected to rise to about 80 degrees, with an east wind 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight, however, there is a 50 percent of showers or thunderstorms, the NWS says, as skies turn cloudy and the temperature dips to a low in the mid-60s.
Tomorrow, the weekend begins with a 30 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11 a.m. The high temperature will be about 80 degrees. Night skies will be cloudy as the temperature registers a low of about 70 degrees.
On Sunday, isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible after 1 p.m., according to the NWS. Otherwise, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-80s. There also could be scattered precipitation Sunday night as the temperature dips to a low of about 70 degrees.
Monday is expected to be sunny, with a high temperature near 90 degrees. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-70s.
Tuesday also will be sunny and hot, with a high temperature about 90 degrees. It will be partly cloudy at night, with a low temperature in the mid-70s.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 90s.
