Sunny and very warm weather continues to prevail today in southwestern Connecticut, the National Weather Service says.
Under clear skies, the daytime high temperature will rise to the upper-80s, with a south wind 5 to 8 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and the temperature will dip to the low-60s. There will be a south wind around 5 mph.
Tomorrow will be sunny again with temperatures in the upper-80s. Overnight, there is a slight chance of showers as clouds move in and temperatures decline to the upper-60s.
On Saturday, the NWS predicts there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Skies should be mostly cloudy and the high temperature will be in the mid-80s. There remains a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday night with low temperatures in the upper-60s.
The outlook for Sunday, the weather service says, is a slight possibility of precipitation, cloudy and temperatures in the mid-80s.
