The warm, sunny stretch of weather that southwestern Connecticut has enjoyed the last several days will shine on through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Today will have clear skies and a daytime high temperature in the mid-80s, the NWS says. Calm winds will be from the south between 7 and 10 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 68 degrees.

Tomorrow will also be sunny and a bit cooler, with a high near 80. Some clouds move in overnight, as the temperature dips to about 71 degrees.

On Monday, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Otherwise, the skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 81 degrees. The NWS rates the chance of precipitation at about 20 percent. The chance for precipitation increases Monday night after 8 p.m. as the nighttime low temperature dips to about 70 degrees.

The sun fully returns Tuesday, the weather service predicts, with the temperature expected to rise into the high-80s.
