Rain is possible every day this week in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers, and possibly thunderstorms, could take place today though early afternoon, followed by drizzle into evening. The daytime high temperature will be about 63 degrees, the NWS says.

Tonight, more showers are possible with a low temperature about 52 degrees.

The forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday is a carbon copy: Rain and thunderstorms possible -- heavy rainfall could be triggered during the T-storms both days -- with high temperatures in the low-60s. Wet, stormy conditions are also possible both nights.

On Thursday, showers are again likely, with slightly higher temperatures in the upper-60s.

The outlook for Friday is basically the same, the weather service predicts.
