After yesterday's periodic downpours, this morning should be clear, but the National Weather Services says clouds will increase as the day goes on and showers are possible again tonight.

The potential for precipitation remains in the forecast for southwestern Connecticut over the rest of the weekend.

Today's daytime high temperature should be about 76 degrees, the NWS says, with a southwest wind between 8 and 15 mph.

In addition to possible showers, tonight will be cloudy with a low of about 58 degrees.

On Saturday, showers are possible mainly before noon. Skies will be cloudy, with a high temperature near 65 degrees. More showers could fall at night, as the temperature dips to about 50 degrees.

There is a slight chance of showers Sunday, which is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 63. There will be a west wind around 10 mph.

Monday, the weather service predicts, will be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 64 degrees.
