Two parish educators will lead the children's and youth ministry programs at St. Mark's Church.

Sally Farrell, the director of St. Mark's Nursery School, will be the acting director of the Children's Ministry, providing a new synergy between the church and school. Farrell brings 20 years of experience in early childhood education to the position. She is pursuing a master's degree in Christian formation at the Virginia Theological Seminary, and recently completed a study course at the General Theological Seminary with Jerome Berryman, the founding guru of Godly Play.

Cyra Borsy is the new acting director of Youth Ministry. She has been a key leader in the ministry at St. Mark's for the past three years, with both middle and high school students. Borsy, who has a seventh-grade son and 11th-grade daughter, is one of the chief architects of the parish's youth program.

They will continue the leadership of Josh Hill, who has accepted a position as chaplain of the Episcopal School of Knoxville, Tenn.
