On Wednesday, Feb. 13, the New Canaan varsity squash team was defeated 7-1 by St. Luke's.

Hal Holappa, playing in the No. 3 spot, pulled off the Rams' one win of the match, topping Robert Morris 3-1. No. 2 Grayson Bubrosky had a very tight competition with St. Luke's Alex Kamisher in a 3-1 loss.

Killian Bubrosky (No. 1), Christian Megherby (No. 4), Will Gruseke (No. 5), team co-captain Henry Greer (No. 6), Kyle Finnican (No. 7) and Andreas Kjekstad (No. 8) all played competitive games, but St. Luke's ultimately triumphed.

The Rams final tournament of the season takes place at Chelsea Piers in Stamford on March 2-3 when they participate in the Fairwest Championships.

The team is part of the Fairwest Public School Squash League (FWPSSL), sanctioned by US Squash and encompassing any public high school or middle school in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
