New Canaan accident sends four men to hospital

A 21-year-old Stamford man and three 19-year-old passengers, all male, were transported to Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, following an accident that left the vehicle on its side, according to police.
When police officers arrived at Ponus Ridge Road north of Dans Highway, they found the vehicle on its side in the opposite lane after it struck a wire guardrail.
Charges are pending as police, who believe alcohol may have been involved, are awaiting the results of a blood test from Norwalk Hospital, according to the report.
