New Canaan Y closed Monday

The New Canaan YMCA will not be opening on Monday due to Hurricane Sandy. Members and residents are advised to call ahead or visit newcanaanymca.org to determine current status.

Additionally, Susan Cossette Eng, financial development and marketing director of the Y, said that as Hurricane Sandy moves through the area, the New Canaan YMCA is in close contact with town officials to ensure that it can be a resource to the community throughout the storm.
