New Canaan Police are investigating a fourth home burglary in as many days.

According to the report, the Michigan Road residence was burglarized between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The following items were reported taken: two MacBook computers, valued at $2,000 each; an iPad valued at $700; and an undetermined amount of jewelry estimated to be worth about $30,000.

There were no signs of forced entry and police believe a door was left unlocked. The home had an alarm but it was not armed at the time of the theft, police said.

It is unclear whether the burglary is connected to the three break-ins that occurred over the weekend.
