The New Canaan Library Association will hold its annual business meeting Tuesday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Adrian Lamb Room.

The annual business meeting offers a unique forum in which to review and discuss the library's activities, as well an opportunity for the library to recognize and thank donors for their contributions. The association's membership includes individuals who have made gifts of time, money or property throughout the preceding year. In addition, new and returning trustees are elected to a three-year term. On the slate this year are Kirby Hoeft, Colleen Baldwin, James B. Duffy, Christian LeBris, Martin P. McLaughlin, Sr. and Kajsa Sheibley.

The Summer Theatre of New Canaan will open the evening with a preview of its current production of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." Refreshments will be served in the Curtis Gallery after the meeting concludes.

The library is a nonprofit organization and is a funding partnership with the Town of New Canaan. Along with a generous grant for operating expenses from the town, the library relies on private contributions to sustain and develop programs and to expand collections. Accordingly, all donors are invited and encouraged to attend the annual meeting.
