New Canaan Immediate Care now accepting patients

New Canaan Immediate Care/Walk-In, a practice of Norwalk Hospital physicians and surgeons, opened on Monday, March 4, at 38 East Ave.

All of the physicians are board-certified members of the Norwalk Hospital medical staff. Off-street parking is available from Cherry Street, and same-day appointments are offered in a comfortable, modern office. Walk-ins are welcome.

The center provides primary care and specialty and diagnostic services in two adjacent buildings in New Canaan. It accepts most major health insurances and will charge walk-in co-pays.

Office hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Weekend hours go into effect March 16 and 17.

Additionally, a Norwalk Hospital blood draw and an extension of the Department of Radiology will be in the adjacent building at 28-30 East Ave.
