New Canaan Food Pantry shelves need replenishing

The New Canaan Food Pantry's shelves are empty and donations of non-expired nonperishable foodstuffs are needed.

The pantry is low on pasta sauce, peanut butter, crackers, kids' snacks, macaroni and cheese, juice boxes, powdered creamer, and boxed dinners such as tacos, Tuna Helper and Velveeta Bakes.

Pasta, beans and soup are not needed at this time.

As always, financial gifts are appreciated. Checks may be made payable to New Canaan Food Pantry and mailed to 77 Main St., New Canaan CT 06840. Food donations may be left at the pantry at St. Mark's Church, 111 Oenoke Ridge.
