About $320,000 in jewelry and cash were reported stolen from a New Canaan resident's safe, according to police.
The 54-year-old complainant, who was on vacation between July 1 and 10, called police July 17 after he realized that a safe in his closet had been opened and items were missing, police said.
The stolen items include at least two Rolex watches, between $5,000 and $10,000 in cash and numerous pieces of jewelry, according to the report.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry into the house or the safe. The victim said he had different workers in the house while he was on vacation, according to the report.
