The South Western Region Metropolitan Planning Organization will meet at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, to discuss transportation and non-transportation policy, programs and projects that concern the area.
Representatives from Metro-North will make a presentation on the Penn Station access project, which will ultimately provide direct Metro-North service from Connecticut to Penn Station.

The SWRMPO is comprised of the chief elected officials of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport and Wilton, and the directors of the region's transit districts.
