Voice actor Larry Kenney, a New Canaan resident, will address the Senior Men's Club of New Canaan in Morrill Hall at St. Mark's Church on Friday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m.

He will share highlights of his nearly 50-year career in broadcasting, from his first gig as a 15-year-old radio DJ in Peoria, Ill., to hosting the TV game show "Bowling for Dollars" and his 35 years on "Imus in the Morning."

Kenney will take club members behind the scenes of the "on-air" side of radio and television, incorporating snippets of audio and video into his presentation.

He is the narrator of VH1's Best Week Ever, and his voice is the one saying, "Feel the Rainbow, Taste the Rainbow" at the end of every Skittles Candy commercial. He's pitched "Mighty Dog," Bold Detergent, Irish Spring Soap, Miller Beer and thousands of other products.

The Senior Men's Club of New Canaan is open to new members. For information, visit www.smcnc.org or call membership chairman Jerry Transue at 203-966-6050.
