Daniel Ogrodowicz, 35, of 295 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, was arrested March 4 on a charge of six-degree larceny.
Ogrodowicz turned himself in at 10:50 p.m. after learning of a warrant for his arrest, police said. The warrant stems from a 2013 case, reported on April 28 by a Bridgeport baby sitter who had $350 in cash stolen from her pocketbook while working at a Main Street home in New Canaan, police said.
According to the original report, the 38-year-old victim was baby-sitting a toddler when an AT&T worker arrived at the home to fix the cable. Police said the man was there for most of the day. After the baby sitter left the house at 5 p.m. and tried to make a purchase while on her way home, she noticed she was missing $350 in cash, police said.

An investigator spoke with other police departments and learned that Ogrodowicz, the AT&T worker, was involved in similar incidents in other towns, according to the report. Based on probable cause, police charged Ogrodowicz with the crime, police said.
He was released on a promise to appear in court March 18.
